East Hill Christian School was founded in 1958 by a group of dedicated believers who saw the need for quality Christian education in the Pensacola area. In 1987, EHCS grew from a Christian elementary school to an educational institution designed to train children spiritually, mentally, and physically from VPK through high school.

In 2008, the Lord directed the board and administration of EHCS to open a free VPK program to meet the needs of families in our area.
In Fall 2009, construction was completed on a new elementary building to bring the two campuses of EHCS together in one location.

The 2009-2010 school year also saw several technological advances at EHCS. A secondary computer lab was installed to give teachers access to hands-on learning materials, and the new RenWeb school management program was added to give students and parents web-based access to grades, homework assignments, and online bill-pay.
Over 200 students call EHCS home. The student body represents the diversity of the Pensacola community. This is made possible due to a number of special financial aid programs.
We are accredited through ACSI and are affiliated with the NASSP and the National Association of Private Schools.
