To be an employee of EHCS, you must have received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
You must also be a member in good standing of an evangelical church and should lead
a separated life. In order to create a unified and Spirit-filled learning environment,
you should also be a person of spiritual maturity with academic and leadership abilities
that will allow you to “train up a child in the way he should go”. The teacher or
administrator should reflect the purpose of the school, which is to honor Christ
in every class and in every activity. Applicants should be a college graduate, certified
or certifiable, and one who feels called of God to the teaching profession.
Teachers at East Hill Christian School must have the ability to help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as
mature, able, and responsible Christian men and women to the praise and glory of God.
Applicants for substitute positions must pass a background screening and fingerprint check and have an interview with an administrator. A bachelor’s degree is not required unless the position needs to be filled long-term.
