To Educate Students Morally…

At East Hill, we prioritize the development of critical thinking skills which are anchored in the Word of God. It is our belief that East Hill Christian School needs to encourage the development of the students by planting seeds of godly wisdom.

One way this is achieved is through monthly Huddle Groups. Huddle Groups provide the opportunity for upperclassmen to lead younger students in a small group setting. Together they are able to encourage, minister, and grow in their faith together.

Fall Pep Rally

This past month we had our Fall Pep Rally to not only recognize the season’s sports teams and players, but to come together and show off our EHCS pride!

The afternoon included a routine from the Lady Eagles Cheer team, a faculty versus senior volleyball game, and student relay races. To close it out, the Spirit Stick was awarded to the Senior class. Way to go!

Volleyball

The Lady Eagles Volleyball team finished their 2022 season this month with their best record since the ’90s!

While taking home first in the Eastern Pensacola Christian Conference and second overall in the PCC, this team remained diligent, committed, and driven. Awesome job, ladies! We can’t wait for next season.

Middle School

The Lunch Bunch Middle School Book Club began meeting with Mrs. Seabrook in the library last month. The group meets on Tuesdays and Fridays during lunch to discuss the book they are all reading and enjoy snacks together.

Elementary School

Elementary students had the chance this month to decorate a pumpkin as their favorite book character and have it displayed in the library. We saw Curious George, The Bad Seed, Harry Potter, Fancy Nancy, The Hungry Caterpillar, and everything in between.

Elementary students who met their Quarter 1 AR goal this year got to enjoy a fall party which included yummy snacks, bingo, prizes and more! Thank you, Mrs. Seabrook, for all of the library fun this month!

Elementary Bowling Trip

All third through fifth graders had the chance to go to Cordova Lanes for an afternoon of bowling and fun together. Afterwards, they headed to the
park to enjoy some sunshine.

Although we love being in the classroom together, we cherish times like this that allow us to continue cultivating an environment that our students enjoy being a part of.
