At East Hill Christian School, our art program nurtures creativity and imagination from the earliest grades through high school, providing students with meaningful opportunities to develop their artistic gifts. Beginning in VPK through 5th grade, students enjoy 30 minutes of weekly art instruction as part of their regular curriculum. Using a variety of mediums—including watercolors, tempera paint, pencil, colored pencil, markers, clay, and oil pastels—students are encouraged to explore creativity as a means of glorifying God.
In Middle School and High School, art classes expand into drawing, painting, and mixed media, where students build foundational techniques while expressing their individual ideas. Rooted in a Christ-centered perspective, our art curriculum emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and craftsmanship, helping students recognize how their work can reflect God’s beauty and inspire others. Whether through classroom projects, school displays, or community events, students at East Hill Christian imitate their Creator each time they step into the art room.
