Men’s Basketball
East Hill Christian School’s boy’s basketball program offers a variety of experiences open to 6th – 12th-grade student-athletes as annually they try out for the Varsity and JV. The team competes at the Varsity and JV level. The Varsity program participates as a member of the Panhandle Christian Conference in the Eastern Division and is considered to be a highly competitive program. The JV program also participates as a member of the Panhandle Christian Conference in the Eastern Division and although is considered to be highly competitive the focus remains on the growth and development of players and their basketball IQ. The top priority of the basketball program is academics, challenging players to grow in the classroom before the court. The expectation is that players perform both on the court and in the classroom. There is some travel associated with being a part of the basketball program as the team plays teams across the Florida panhandle as well as the lower Alabama regions, including a typical out-of-state preseason tournament. The boys’ basketball program holds three core values. They are: to be examples of Christ-like conduct, compete with sportsmanship, and develop teamwork. The program feels that through displaying these values there is an opportunity to bring out the best in every player on the team. Members of the team are expected that while playing for the Eagles Basketball program, they are to uphold each of these values to the best of their ability daily.

Women’s Basketball
East Hill has a rich history in girls’ basketball. The program, which competes at a Varsity level, is a member of the Panhandle Christian Conference in the Eastern Division. The girl’s basketball program is open to female students from the 6th-12th grade, and they are allowed to try out for the Lady Eagles Basketball program.
Under Coach Watson’s leadership, the Lady Eagles basketball team prides itself on developing fundamentals, strategies, and life skills to be competitive on and off the basketball court. The team focuses on setting high standards in the preseason, emulating those standards through their seasonal training, and looking to push the program higher each time out. The program breeds an understanding of working hard, having proper discipline, and staying united as a team, which is far more important than wins or potential championships.
The Lady Eagles take pride in being ambassadors of East Hill on the court, in the classroom, and within the greater Pensacola area.
