Student Leadership

Empowering student leaders is integral to the culture of East Hill Christian School. We combine training with opportunities for students to put their skills into practice.

Student Leadership University (slulead.com)

Starting in eighth grade, students begin a leadership pilgrimage that carries them throughout their high school experience. Eighth grade students are invited to attend SLU 101 in Orlando, Florida where they discover that God has uniquely gifted them to think, dream and lead. Ninth grade students are able to attend SLU 201 in our nation’s capital to explore faith in the public square. For upper classmen, SLU 301 takes place in Europe: London, Oxford, Paris and Normandy. Here, students discover the intersection of church history and world history. SLU 401 provides students with a rich understanding of the birthplace of our faith in Israel and Jordan.

Students who attend SLU 101 are invited to join the Student Leadership Institute (SLI). Students in SLI serve as mentors for monthly middle school discipleship groups called Huddle Groups.

Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy (chickfilaleaderacademy.com)

Through a generous partnership with Chick-Fil-A, EHCS is host to the Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy. Students join Chick-Fil-A’s mission to Engage, Expose and Equip students with the tools to lead. Chick-Fil-A combines storytelling and technology as a means of igniting the passions for a new generation of leaders.

Student Government Association and Student Council

Students get the opportunity to put their leadership skills to work through Student Government Association (High School) and Student Council (Middle School). Students involved in both programs host events throughout the year for the benefit of the entire school. SGA plans Homecoming, The Sadie Hawkins Dance, and Jingle All the Way Day while STUCO hosts the Middle School Cotillion and Midday Midterm Movies. Creativity blossoms as students learn how to cast vision, budget, and bring events to life.

Eagle Ambassadors

Eagle Ambassadors are our Student Hosts for East Hill Christian School. Students are selected through a rigorous application and interview process. These stellar juniors and seniors represent the spirit of EHCS and serve as liaisons for the Admissions office. Eagle Ambassadors provide campus tours for prospective families, host weekly chapel speakers, and meet and greet for special events throughout the year.
